The Level 3 Assessing in Vocational Achievement is accredited by ICQ. It is appropriate for the following job roles:-

 

Assessor, Tutor, Trainer

 

The Assessing in Vocational Achievement is aimed at providing learners with the knowledge and the skills required to be able to assess in a wide occupational area.

 

The objectives of this qualification is to provide sufficient evidence that the learner has acquired the necessary

skills and knowledge to assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills.

 

Course Contents

 

On this course you will cover

 

·         Understanding the principles and practices of assessment

·         Assess occupational competence in the work environment

·         Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding

 

 

Assessment Method

 

A range of assessment methods will be used by the tutor including direct observation, written assignment, and simulation.

 

Learners will have full access to tutor support via email and telephone. Our offices are open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm if you need to talk to someone about your course.

 

 

Course Outcome

You will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Qualification accredited by ICQ. 

 

Course Duration

 

The course runs for 2 days a week for 2 weeks. This usually is after completion of the BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

 

Method of Study

 

You will be supported throughout the course by your tutor

Do I need to be employed to do this course?

 

No this course is open to unemployed and employed. If you are unemployed the course is fully funded and your jobcentre can refer you if you are on JSA, Universal Credit or Income Support. There is a charge if you are employed

It is ideal for anyone who would like to be a fully qualified assessors for learners in either the classroom and/or the work environment
